It doesn’t matter which direction your office faces, whether you have windows that get good light, or if you spend most of your time in the dark, Apartment Therapy has a type of plant that can thrive in almost any environment. Even if you’re the type who forgets you have a plant at all, there’s a type of plant that’ll work for you.
If you’re the type to forget to water your plant, try a succulent. For those of you who work in offices where the lights are down low, some begonias, Swdish ivy, or even mint will thrive in low light. You could even build a terrarium. We’ve shown you how in our how to Make a Moss Terrarium for Low-Maintenance Greenery.
For an easy-care plant that has the side benefit of being edible, try herbs: they’re hardy and they smell great. We’ve discussed plants that are office friendly, but even if you don’t work in a cubicle, there’s a type of plant that’s perfect for you and where you spend the day.

That’s literally all there is to it, but really, what else do you want a file sharing site to actually do? There are currently no limits to the size or number of files you can upload. If you’re after a basic file-sharing service, this seems like a good option to bookmark.

That point aside, it’s business-as-usual in the functional department: you get a daily offer of a discounted ticket, and the deal happens if enough people sign up. Right now the service is only running in Sydney, but Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth are promised.

Remove the drawers, prime and coat with exterior nontoxic paint, and turn the cabinet on its back for a great deep planter for growing tomatoes and other deep-rooted plants. For more structural support, add some 2-by-4s to the bottom of the planter, which you can drill casters into.
Full directions from DIY Life are in the link below. Perhaps you can couple this with our previously mentioned self-watering tomatoes planters project to build your own Earth Box alternative.

This is the 2011 version of the guide we’ve published before, incorporating new service options, price changes and other details. We’ve also timed it as part of our Earth Month coverage; using public transport is an obvious but still often overlooked way of reducing your impact on the planet.
With that said, it’s still apparent that the main reason why most people choose public transport is because it’s the cheapest option. That isn’t invariably the case. As we’ve noted several times before, taking a taxi will probably work out cheaper if you have more than a couple of people travelling. In those cities with a train service, one thing to bear in mind though is that a train may offer a faster journey, especially during peak hour, and that queues for taxis can sometimes be substantial. Airport public transport almost invariably concentrates on travel to the centre of town; if you’re heading somewhere entirely different, then a taxi or a door-to-door airport shuttle may be a more practical alternative.
In the list below, we’ve included options for each of Australia’s capital city airports, covering regularly scheduled services which offer transport from airports to the centre of each city. We haven’t included door-to-door hotel shuttle services (unless there’s no alternative offered) or taxis. Costs are for a singl

5. Take advantage of what’s already on offer
Before spending extra to develop a site, make sure you’re taking advantage of all the facilities that your existing provider offers. If you’re hosting your site through an ISP, you’ll very likely have access to facilities that let you set up multiple email addresses for your business. If you use a separate hosting provider, the resources to install a blogging system such as WordPress may already be available. Spend a little time checking the standard inclusions for services such as basic hosting which you are already paying for can reap big dividends.
4. Set up canned responses in Google
While there are many ways in which you’ll end up interacting with customers who locate your business online (and we’ve discussed some of those below), email is not likely to disappear as an option in the near future. As your business grows, you’re likely to find yourself sending the same replies to customers. If you use Gmail for email access, you can speed up that process by creating ‘canned replies’ which you can automatically use as the basis for individual replies. No more fiddly copy-and-pasting when you’re dealing with the 17th query about your overseas shipping policy!
To use canned responses, you need to switch on the option in Labs. Click on the Labs i
